My Fight Song

Like a small boat
On the ocean
Sending big waves
Into motion
Like how a single word
Can make a heart open
I might only have one match
But I can make an explosion

And all those things I didn't say
Wrecking balls inside my brain
I will scream them loud tonight
Can you hear my voice this time?

This is my fight song
Take back my life song
Prove I'm alright song
My power's turned on
Starting right now I'll be strong
I'll play my fight song
And I don't really care if nobody else believes
'Cause I've still got a lot of fight left in me

Losing friends and I'm chasing sleep
Everybody's worried about me
In too deep
Say I'm in too deep (in too deep)
And it's been two years
I miss my home
But there's a fire burning in my bones
Still believe
Yeah, I still believe

And all those things I didn't say
Wrecking balls inside my brain
I will scream them loud tonight
Can you hear my voice this time?

This is my fight song
Take back my life song
Prove I'm alright song
My power's turned on
Starting right now I'll be strong
I'll play my fight song
And I don't really care if nobody else believes
'Cause I've still got a lot of fight left in me

A lot of fight left in me

GofundMeSA

For the first time ever, South Africa (and Africa) will have their own crowd-funding page.
It will be launched on Monday, 3rd October, 2016.

If you want to get onto the page before the official opening, all you need to do is to email me at dianne.lang1@gmail.com

What I need is a small to the point story (500 words) of what you want and why.
Then I need a picture or two that will make your funding proposal stand out from the crowd.
After that, I need to know how much money you want and when do you want it.  For example, you need R1500 by the end of October.  The amount of money and the time period are important.
There is no cost to you and a small 3% admin fee to gofundmesa after the money comes flowing your way.   No money - no fee.  Simple.

Let's get on and just do it.  That thing you have wanted for so long ... that thing you wanted to do forever ... that friend who needs a new something or other .... come to gofundmeSA.

EUGENE DE KOCK - PART 9

The very sad part of this story is the fact that we had to destroy everything ever written on our group about Eugene.  I felt that it was an unfair request given the timespan we had to do it in.  Without those details, it is difficult for me to remember everything that went on.  Although I remember a lot, it would have been better if we had those posts as a reminder of what went down.  Even still, Eugene could now have seen how hard we worked for him and where TM, JK and PP entered the game.   Ben believes that Eugene knows what he is doing with the previously mentioned people, but I do not agree.  Eugene has been institutionalised and he is a very private person – who would he or could he have trusted other than those three who popped up long after the dance had started.
I now have to rely on the emails to remind me of all that happened.  When one is in the middle of a war, we don’t remember the individual bullets and that is what has happened to me.
JK was pushing hard for money from the group.  On the 21 April 2015, I received an email from JK.  I am going to type out the email so that you can see what a slimy character we were dealing with.
Hi Dianne
Please see the email that I sent to Piet Croucamp.  I was under the impression that the was handling the money situation.  I double whether there is sufficient money to cover the total bill but what I suggested was that we see how much has been collected and then negotiate with counsel regarding his fee.  (All the fees were for the state and not for the advocate nor JK.  I have dealt with many parole hearing issues and have never heard of a prisoner having to pay) As for the last weeks work Gene had R10 000.00 paid in (by us)   R1000.00 went (sic)the sheriff for urgent service and copies.
Counsel and I spent 2 full days in court.  This excludes the drafting the day before.
We are meeting with Gene tomorrow.  I however don’t know what is going on and still have not received his parole conditions.
In short I don’t know what to say about getting Gene out and what we will still need to do.  I am enclosing for your information a copy of the Application.  I look forward to hearing from you.  Best regards, Julian”.
One of the emails he forwarded to me was dated 13 February 2015 which reads:  “Dear Piet, Advocate Roelof Du Plessis contacted me to ask what the situation was with regard to the payment of his account or a portion thereof is.  Can you please let me know what the situation is regarding this.  Best regards”
On 21 April 2015, I sent an email to Ben Kruger, Dewaldt Louw and James Marx.  “Gentlemen, I have got this out of JK by playing his game.  Please peruse everything carefully and remember that the last application – the costs went to the state. (why then was he asking for money when the state paid for the parole hearing?) I have forwarded all the legal documents to another criminal lawyer who has been in practice since 1991.  He knows E personally and was with him as a policeman at Vlakplass.  I will hear from him later today or night with how we can proceed”.  I then attached the documents showing that Clive Derby-Lewis was also being represented by JK (and I had been told that EdK had specifically requested that JK not represent any other person) and that the money requested was also for Derby-Lewis.
Ben’s response to me was:  “There is just no more money. Period.  Piet Croucamp is welcome to raise whatever he wants, but as far as I am concerned our group has been tapped dry.    Ben had not given much thought to the attached papers and answered me too quickly.  Thus, I had to explain in my next contact with him.
“Ben…but this game I played to get this info out of JK. All I said is that Piet does not hold the keys to the group or the money. The money is not the problem – the problem is for us to get someone else to take over because JK obviously does not give a continental shit.  Even his argument (in my limited knowledge) is flawed in the papers.  Apart from that – how the fuck could he charge the charges he has charged??
Please go through the documents careful and give me a way forward.  If we do not get JK removed and someone else onto this, we may as well wave goodbye to Eugene.  See us all back in the same damned place in six months time.  MC
This was a very busy day for me – the 21st April.  My next message to the gentlemen after I researched case law was this, “…it is the legal documents that go with it that is of concern to me.  How to get him out without JK being involved.  How do I get E to fire JK.  I have someone who can go and be at JK’s offices tomorrow when E is supposed to be present – but I don’t trust the time frame and therefore need someone to sit there with JK until E arrives and before they go back to court.  I have a criminal lawyer who is prepared to take on the case tonight after he has perused the documents…was all geared up to go this morning and now I can’t even get out of the fucking bed.  I am so frustrated with this”.
It was at this point that we hatched the plan to pull Eugene out and no one knew about it, least of all Ben, Dewaldt and James Marx.
Ben did send me a rather telling email “…and remind him (JK) that he told Piet Croucamp  in the beginning that he would take the case for free because he will get a lot of publicity if successful”.   Ben did not think it was prudent to change lawyers at that stage but I knew that we would lose the parole hearing – which is exactly what happened on the reasons I thought it would happen.  So back to prison went Eugene.    And now Ben told me that I could tell JK to go jump in a lake … I wanted him to drown.  I am not a lawyer but I had spent 7 years on this case so I was very clued up on the parole process – I knew that JK had fucked up and that Eugene was going to go back to prison.  I was right but it gave me no satisfaction because we were back at square one.  I was frustrated and angry because I knew that JK was fucking up big time, I could not get to see EdK myself and all his visits were being controlled by TM, PP and JK.
In the meantime, Eugene was being used by the prosecutors to sort out cold case files. He was taken out of prison by the prosecutors a number of times to help them.  Sadly, after I was asked to remove all trace of Eugene on FB, I also, once he was properly free (and I will explain that properly later) I destroyed the photographs that I had of Eugene when he was still in prison with a group of prosecutors.
I still get very angry when I hear the words “prime evil”.  He deserves a pardon – even if he is out on parole (and who knows what those conditions are apart from him not being allowed to speak to the public?)   Eugene will unfortunately never know how hard and how many people were rooting for him.
When I was first asked by JK to remove the FB group, my response was “Not a fuck.  Not until I hear it from the mouth of Eugene de Kock myself”

Eugene de Kock : Part 8

Stone Sizane and me in my bedroom
In-between the calls I was getting from JK asking how much money we had, I also got a call from him telling me to close the group.  I told him “not a fucking chance, unless I hear it out the mouth of Eugene de Kock myself”.   On the 2 Feb 2015, I received a Statement of Account from Julian Knight and Associates Inc; titled : EUGENE DE KCOK. MINISTER OF CORRECTIONAL SERVICES & OTHER CASE ( & OTHER CASE was Clive Derby-Lewis) NO:9572/13I.   The account was for an amount of R614 434.69.  However, we had raised R20 000.00 which was given to JK by Miempie and General van der Merwe coughed up R30 000.00 leaving a total amount outstanding at R564 434.69.  JK charged EdK R1500.00 per hour consultation. For example: Consultation at Pretoria Central on signature of Affidavit 11h00 – 12h00 was R1750.00.  This was a complete shock to me because I was led to believe that JK was taking on the case of Eugene and he would do it pro deo (for nothing) because of the high profile nature of the case, he would be promoting his own business due to the media it would attract.   The statement could only have been drawn up after I asked for a copy so that I could discuss the matter with those who were holding the money.   The entire statement seems to me to have been put together for my benefit and to get money out of the group.   There was never any agreement that money would be paid.  The statement is addressed to Eugene de Kock (as though EdK had any money left by that stage).
JK obviously asked his secretary to email the documents to me and unbeknown to anyone, the secretary sent me a document that I should never have seen.   JK was representing Clive Derby-Lewis and Eugene de Kock at the same time and the costs for Derby-Lewis were muddled up with that of EdK in JK’s books.   I do not have to say much on that issue.  You can work it out for yourselves – but how could he have been working for both of them at the same time?  Where were his priorities?  And why were we to foot the bill for Clive Derby-Lewis?
Then I got a letter that I should not have got either:  It was a letter written by Julian Knight to TM dated 2 Feb 2015 (the man who lied that he had been visiting EdK since he was incarcerated).  TM led the media to believe that he was footing the bills and he was doing all the visits from the time EdK went into prison.  This is a blatant lie.  And why was the letter addressed to JK? The letter reads:
Dear Sir
EUGENE DE KOCK/MINISTER OF CORRECTIONAL SERVICES & OTHER: CASE NO. 58500/14
We refer to the above matter and enclose herewith our amended Statement of Account which reflects R30 000.00 received from client (what fucking client?) as well as the R20 000,00 donation that was received from General Van Der (sic) Merwe.
These accounts must be factored into the writer’s statement of Account.  We confirm your advices that the amount of money raised on behalf of Mr De Kock will no way near cover the entirety of the Bill.  (No Ja – he knew so much)
It is the writer’s suggestion that once we are in receipt of amount that has been collect, (sic) the writer together with Adv. Du Plessis SC will come to an arrangement relating to how the monies be disbursed.  (Adv. Du Plesiss SC did the work for nothing and never wanted a penny.  It was pro deo)
We look forward to hearing from you in the above regard at your earliest convenience.
Yours faithfully
Julian Knight
The raid and seizure of Eugene were still under the table.  Our tolerance was reaching peak levels and I was being cautioned to calm down.  That was impossible.  I can keep a secret, but I can’t keep quiet about the truth.  Eugene was institutionalized and vulnerable, being used by the various law enforcement officials to help with apartheid crimes and finding evidence and his true friends were being kept out of the way by TM taking charge of who visited him and when.    It concerned me that his true friends were and still are, outside his circle and have no privy to his health and welfare.   I still feel that he should be given a Presidential Pardon but this will have to be applied for when we get a new president.  The one we have now is just an embarrassment.   When the president changes, I will again start an appeal to get EdK a Presidential Pardon.  I am sure that you will all be with me on that issue.

During this time, I managed to get to see Stone Sizane in my bedroom at home.  While he made no promise of a Presidential Pardon, he did promise to do all he could to facilitate a parole for Eugene.  He kept his word.   TM, PP, and JK were rats and there were one or two other spooks in our group.  JK constantly sent emails to TM asking for money until he called me one day and I told him that TM could not organise a piss up in a brewery and if he wanted some clarity regarding the situation, he had best speak to Ben or to me.  PP wanted something from him, TM has his reasons so that his ego could be polished and JK was milking the system without actually giving a damn about his client.

EUGENE DE KOCK - PART 7

EdK visitng his brother and family for the first time after parole
First let me tell you why we have not heard from Eugene.  He has been guarded with four guards 24/7 and has been unable to do his own thing; hence his two hour incarceration in prison the other week.   He was trying to get himself out of this “witness protection” process and actually be as free as he can be, given his parole restrictions.  This time, JK came to the rescue.  I do not know if JK was paid or not.
The real reason Eugene has not contacted us, even those who he are closest to, is two-fold.  First there was his 24/7guards and then there is his idea that if he makes contact with us, it will make life difficult for us and he is trying to protect us.  Well, bless his heart, but I don’t need protection.
The more time that went past, the more crap that I was getting from JK regarding Eugene (because he said a lot of words that meant nothing), the more frustrated I became.  Then a few of us pulled together to free Eugene ourselves.  The integrity of these few people who were prepared to put their lives on the line to free him speaks volumes.  We knew the difficulty, we knew the layout, we knew the problems we would encounter and we knew the punishment or otherwise that we would be facing if the plan failed.  It is so sad that this part of the story never got to reach the ears of even Ben – there are people out there that were prepared to bring Eugene out of prison and hide him for an indefinite period of time.  That I call determination and dedication to make sure that one of our soldiers were not  left behind.
A lot of energy and organising went into that.  The only thing I told Ben was that “I think we should go in and take him out ourselves”   He nearly had a heart attack on the spot.  “Don’t even think about it MC” he said – giving me the same story of how close we were to his parole.  I, of course, was happy to run with it, but only until a certain date.  If the judge did not grant him his parole, we were going to take him out ourselves.  It was a decision that had already been  taken.  Every single thing that I had tried had not worked, so the final deadline was the judgement of the judge at his final parole hearing.
For those who do not remember, there were many parole hearings and the reasons that they were denied were varied, but the one just before the last one is what sent our blood pressure soaring.   The reason given was that he had not spoken to all his victims.  That was a blatant lie.  The fact that the Correctional Services had not made adequate note of his dealings with his victims was a disgrace.  For me personally, I felt that they were using Eugene as a scapegoat for everything bad in a white man while Mandela was being paraded around as everything good in a black man.  To think that the highest decorated policeman ever in South Africa, Eugene, was languishing in a prison for no other reason than political and racist reasons was abhorrent to me.  Our plan to hijack and hide Eugene was fool proof – no one would ever have found him.   In retrospect, I am sorry we did not go through with our plan.  The prison conditions were appalling.  He was often ill with flu or bronchitis and his eyes were a constant source of concern.   Giving what went down from before the final announcement by the judge on his parole, I truly am sorry we did not take him out ourselves.  At least then we could have nurtured him and given him space and time to heal without guards, TM and PP hanging around.
JK was still calling me and asking me for money to pay the outstanding bill. And because I was pretending to be doff, I asked him to email me the statement and I would discuss it with our committee to see if we had enough to pay him.   He was evading the actual amount, but the following emails are the kinds of emails I was getting; trying to show me that huge amounts of money were outstanding.   I also found his approach to the parole conditions completely wrong – I made it my business to know the law on prisoners and parole so it did give me some right (although I only voiced this to Ben) to say that I believed he was fucking Eugene’s chances up.
I include some self-explanatory emails that were being used to keep me guessing while they kept on asking for money:

EUGENE DE KOCK - PART 6pp

pp
I never received the letter below – I only received a copy of it closer to the time that Eugene was released.  It was on this letter that I was being advised by Ben and Marx (and always Miempie in the background not wanting to be involved but being involved anyway.  That is why I could say to Ben and Marx, “Fuck that – I will do what I want and if Eugene phones me then I will shut up and until then I will not be stopped”.   Miempie visited EdK from the beginning of his imprisonment .  She was the one person that EdK could have trusted and not TM because he only started visiting EdK three years before his release.  I worked on this case for 7 years.   This is also why I have little time for PP.  She came in right at the end and for her own selfish needs.  I felt throughout his incarceration that the enemy (those working not in his interest – in this case TM) was manipulating the visits and no one was doing things (other than the women I spoke of previously) solely on compassionate grounds.  Everyone who was visiting was there for some bizarre and obscure reason, but NOT for the benefit of this lone prisoner.   And it made me de moer in.  On the many occasions that Ben and I spoke to one another, Ben would always tell me that Eugene was not stupid and that he was in control over TM, PP & Co.    But I knew what an institutionalized brain does to a person – I knew what isolation does to a prisoner.   And that is why I was getting so frustrated with these people who appeared to be doing good and all the ‘thank you’ that landed on our page lauding their service to Eugene.
To this day I believe that those who have surrounded him (other than the four guards who monitored him 24/7) are not genuine.  The period between May of 2015 and January of 2016 was an exciting and nail-biting time for Ben and me (by this stage I was only tolerating James Marx – he was there only because Ben put him there.  I would never have chosen such a person.  I am a good judge of character and it was proved at the end that James Marx was not the kind of person we needed on board)  It was James who would delete my posts because I was being too truthful.  Well, fuck him now.
Here is the letter the others got that I only saw around December 2015.
Julian Knight and Associates
Date: 11 MAY 2015
Dear Sirs
FACEBOOK GROUP : FREE EUGENE DE KOCK
1.      The writer hereof acts on the instruction of Eugene Alexander De Kock.
2.      We confirm that you are the administrators of the Facebook Group “Free Eugene De Kock” and this letter is addressed to you in that capacity. (Wonder who he thought I was? So unimportant to them that he could not even address a letter to me)
3.      Namely the
4.      Our client wishes to keep the conditions of his parole confidential but also wishes to thank all of the members of the Facebook group for their assistance and support in the past.
5.      Our client has further instructed ourselves that it has come to his knowledge that the Facebook Group is being used for the purposes of collecting “legal fees “for his release, subsequent to the date of his release namely the 30th January.   (It was Knight was squealing for money via his phone calls to me – telling me that his account was outstanding of R20 000.  However, the advocate had done all the work pro-bono.  Further to this, it was an agreement that Knight do the work for nothing based on the fame he would achieve by taking on a prominent case of a legendary man).
6.      Dianne Lang advised the writer hereof that deposits had been made up to the late of the last Application some two weeks ago.  If this is the case all Fundraising must now stop. (Funny how you know this and it is in May 2015 but release date in January 2016.  When he spoke to me he asked me how much money we had.  I did not know as Miempie controlled the monies coming in and only paid out on instruction from Eugene.  Further to this, Miempie always let one of us know so that we could put a thank you onto the page for the donor.  JK was looking for money to pay the legal fees of the Advocate because the advocate had not been paid a cent yet.  He was very adamant and demanding on the numerous times he called me asking for money – more on the money issue later)
7.      Further to the above, to (sic) our client is concerned regarding comments made by members of the site, that the site is currently being used to advance certain political objectives and/or to reflect Government in a negative way.  (What bullshit)
8.      Whilst our client recognises the rights of citizens to express their views, he is uncomfortable with these views being expressed in his name or that he be associated therewith.
9.      You will no doubt be mindful of the political sensitivity that our client enjoys given his background and the offences for which he was convicted and his conditions of parole.
10.  In the light of this, it would seem that the purpose of the Facebook Group, to free our client has now been achieved and it is our client’s view that there is no further need for it to continue.
11.  We would be pleased if you would kindly advise ourselves what the attitude of the Administrators are with regard to the closure of this Facebook Group is,
Failing which our client will be compelled to take this matter up with Facebook.
12.  We would be pleased if you would kindly acknowledge receipt of this letter.
Yours faithfully

EUGENE DE KOCK - PART 5

If you have only joined the story now at Part 5, I suggest you go back to Part 1 and read because certain people had certain code names.   Another thing, enough time has gone by that what I share makes no difference at all.  We are still (I hope) a group with integrity and compassion – although there is always a rat in the mix.  I hope that the rats get trapped into cages never to see the light of day. May they experience even one third of the trauma that Eugene de Kock suffered in prison.
In May2015, it was discussed (between me, Ben and Marx) whether to start slowing down the nagging and letter writing process regarding Eugene de Kock’s parole.  I cannot remember the words verbatim, but it went somewhere along the lines of it being dangerous/political and maybe detrimental to Eugene; and maybe we were making it more difficult for him.   Now I have never met Eugene, except when he phoned me many months later… but that is another story.    It was suggested that I temper down my posts and try to stay calm and smooth the waters.  Well, me being me, I thought that was for the birds and balls to the wall I said “Not a fuck!!!  We carry on until Eugene de Kock tells me with his own mouth to stop”.   From that date to the date when the world heard about his parole – a million and one things happened.  I could write a book on it all that would make Jansen’s book pale in comparison.  It was cloak and dagger – there were spies, double-agents and spooks.  I did not even trust Ben and certainly did not trust Marx – We all had our own informers in various places.  So I would act dumb until I was told something of an extremely sensitive nature and would very calmly say, “I know – I heard it week before last”.  Shit, I loved doing that to the main dudes that counted.
I was not getting better and spending a lot of time in hospital.   Eugene’s story because the reason for me to get up in the morning.  Often, it was my dedication and hate of injustice that pushed me to  the point of exhaustion…straight back into hospital… but would at the same time move me back into the stream of life.  My life has always been to live for something bigger than myself, and Eugene’s situation was indeed bigger than myself.  Not for a moment did I believe that I could have taken that small little group of three to where we went and how we got there.  It is very sad that we were forced to delete everything from our group page because that would have been a fantastic book.  But more on the reason for that will be revealed at a later stage.   I was driven and determined.  I could not let one day go by without doing some research, making one phone call, writing another letter, motivating the group or speaking with the president’s office.   I entertained officials of the ANC in my bedroom – begging and pleading for a pardon or at least a parole.   I knew things long before anyone else, although Ben would get direct info on Eugene; I was getting info from the political sphere.   The story gets more interesting from here – so stay with me while I spill the beans on treacherous behaviour from where it was least expected.

I do not want to share certain information on FaceBook and would like to only use my diannelang.blogspot.co.za to tell my story, so I would appreciate it if you are interested to please enter your email address into the blog page.

Eugene de Kock - Part 4

Candice Mama & Eugene de Kock
The phone calls that I was getting from JK were increasing and every time it had to do with money.  Eventually, playing like I was the dumb arse he thought I was, I asked him to email me his account so that I could discuss it with Ben and then we could see what we could do about it.
While waiting for the “account”, lots of other things were going down.  Two women were of great help in getting Eugene care for his eyes, and the other getting him the things he needed.  These women were Nandi and Hannelie.   The prison conditions were ghastly.  He was cold in winter and could only wear white track tops without any markings on them.  The women went to town hunting down white track tops that were in line with the prison rules.   These people who worked behind the scenes are really the unsung heroes.  Not a single shop in the whole of the country had the required tops so a tailor offered to make the two tops and one of the ladies donated the material.  Then the problem was to get the tops to him.  The tops lay in the warden’s office for six months while Eugene had to write for permission to obtain these items.
Getting Eugene to his eye examinations also presented a problem.  He had to pay for his own guards, the transport and the examination and treatment.  All would be organised from our side and then the guards that we had paid for did not turn up.  The frustrations were getting beyond a joke and I was starting to lose my cool – again behind what I was putting out there.
Eugene’s visitors were also restricted to a certain number per month and per year and those visits had to include the legal visits.  TM was always going and of course, he took PP with him to one of the visits.  EdK’s visits were all booked up for the year but little pussy had to get herself in there and next to him.  This was after I had already explained that visits should be restricted for those who could actually help him instead of just visiting out of curiosity.   While Nandi and Hannelie were working their arses off for Eugene without anyone knowing, this PP was brushing up her ego by getting close to him via another ego conduit, TM.
EdK was institutionalised and vulnerable and she took advantage of that.  I can’t like her.  After reading her book (in Afrikaans nogal) sent to me by Hannelie, I liked her even less.
On another level completely, amazing things were happening between the men and women from the various armed forces.  People who were previously enemies  were not only talking to one another, but were also standing up to be counted, with respect and acknowledgement of the roles each played during the Rooi Gewaar years, and as one harmonious voice to ask for pardon for EdK.  Individual and petty problems were set aside and under the universal umbrella of compassion, stood as one in our appeal for a pardon for Eugene.     Truly miraculous things were happening all the time and I was granted a ring side view of the lives of many via inbox.  Those secrets I will take to my grave.  And those who told can be assured of nothing but my utmost respect.   I know when to shut my mouth, believe it or not.

My journey with Eugene started in a hospital bed in England with a book (A human being died that night) and ended 7 years later in a hospital bed in South Africa.  It was one hell of a ride.  I am not going to regurgitate kak that you can read on google – I am going to continue to tell this story as it happened to me and in connection with me.   And only I know what I know and what I don’t know.  What Ben Kruger knows and does not know is the same – we still dance at the same level as we did during what I call “the eye of the storm”- those last 8 months.

Eugene de Kock : Part Three

To continue to tell the story, I have to put myself into it.  I was known as MC – Merc Chick.  I don’t remember who gave me that name but it kind of stuck.   As you know, we were constantly looking for money or ways to make money to pay for legal fees for Eugene – and of course, we flooded the president’s office (I refuse to use capital letters now) with reams of paper.  I phoned that office so many times that all six secretaries recognised my name and would say “Hello Dianne, are you phoning about de Kock again?”   And of course, I would answer, “As long as Eugene de Kock is in prison I will not stop phoning you”.   I did get one letter and one call from that office – The office of the Presidency!   Well, the letter was a typical political letter saying a lot of words that said nothing. The phone call I received was a little more funny.  “Please Dianne, tell your people to stop sending emails because we have to print out every one and we don’t have paper”.  They had boxes and boxes of our emails.  Thank you to everyone who helped me with that exercise.
While I am on the subject of the president, let me mention to you that I still feel that Eugene de Kock deserves a Presidential Pardon.  Asking the eejit we have is pointless, but as soon as we have another one, I would like you to help me appeal for a Presidential Pardon for Eugene.  I think that this would be one good reason for keeping this group going.
Table Mountain was an unreliable person – he never, ever did what he promised to do and the 14 t-shirts that were to be signed by EdK and given to Hendrik Fouche to auction never moved from TM’s place.  He saw EdK many times, he made many promises to me to get the shirts signed, but never did a thing.  But I soon learned how to use him to my advantage – I allowed him to think I was a crazy mad fool and I played that game with him.   And when PP could not get to EdK via me, she went to him.  And he took her in.  You have obviously gathered by now that I had no time for those two.
To cut a long story short, I eventually managed to get Hannelie to collect the shirts from TM and to keep them with her for when she could see him, but in the meantime, Hendrik had paid for two of the shirts and it was weighing me down that I was not seeing this situation to an end.  Two of the shirts belonged to Hendrik and the next 12 shirts were going to be auctioned so that Eugene would have money when he came out of prison – at least he would have had an income for the first 12 months via the shirts.   Ben Kruger paid for the shirts and also paid for the initial lot of bumper stickers.  I paid for an additional 14 shirts that I had sent by courier to Hendrik.  I know that everyone thought that James was doing such a great job of posting the bumper stickers with his own money … I raise my eyebrows because I was doing that all along, including posting shirts around the country.  And as I am sure you know, I slide through life on the smell of an oil rag – where the money came from for me to do those things the good Lord only knows.

Remember the money for the next instalment is going to be very interesting.   About 8 months before the closure of the group I received a phone call from JK. (If you don’t know who the people are that I mention by their nicknames, then please read the other sections in sequence; part 1, then part 2 and so on)   The question of money came up – how much money did the group have to give him (JK).   Obviously TM had informed JK of how dim I was so JK also treated me like a dimwit, but that suited the agenda.  And it paid off big time.  I was becoming an excellent agent and would have made a fantastic Mata Hari in a previous life.

My Life

Having CIVD, rare disease or cancer (incurable, chronic, debilitating downward spiral is like living inside a snakes and ladders game.  I know because I play the game.  You roll the dice and you go up some ladders.  You hit a lucky stroke and you find yourself a step or two ahead.  And when you least expect it, you land on the head of the snake and you slide down so fast your head spins. It is a series of mini avalanches.   No sooner has the person recovered from one disease when another takes its place.  It is as though the various diseases are competing to see which can do the most damage in the shortest possible time.  CVID is about slowly watching the pieces fall off, bits that stop working, energy levels deplete day by day.  The body slowly disintegrates; things that worked yesterday don’t work today.  There is little warning, diseases come in the night and are full blown by the morning.   There is a constant battle going on inside – always hovering just under the surface, even when it’s a good day.  And with velocity…rapidly one symptom looms much larger than others and now the ER, doctor, physician has something to notice.  Body temperature tells you nothing.  With no immune system, the body shows no temperature.  Temperature shows the body fighting back.  CIVD leaves a much lower than normal core body temperature.  The lower the temperature, the more ill the patient becomes.  Just one more challenge – not having a temperature does not fit into the protocol of admission to hospital so you are sent home, often feeling that the doctors think you are a shirker.
The mind can’t remember, the bowels sometimes don’t work, the bladder is a problem, lungs struggle, bones ache; nausea never stops.  Even hair falls out; it was where it should be last night but in the morning the pillow looks like a shaggy carpet.  Skin lesions appear without a bump, blood vessels burst for no reason, skin itches like a million ants crawling beneath it.

I marvel at the capacity of the human body to take this relentless and remorseless onslaught.  Survival is a mystery.  And why I would want to continue to live is bewildering – because under all of this there is still that will and that hope that tomorrow will be better.  Is the need to live an instinct or is there a soul that refuses to surrender?   I am bewildered by the enormity of the question of the soul.  I cannot comprehend that I am just a material thing and that I will not have consciousness after death.  Is my thought that I have an eternal soul merely my way of lowering the internal distress I feel when I think of death as being the end to my consciousness?    At what point do I say enough is enough – at what point do I surrender because life no longer has meaning living as I am now – why do I constantly hope that I will be helped, that I will get better, that my circumstances will improve.  When will I accept these circumstances so that my fate is more acceptable to me?  What kind of life is it to trudge through from one infection to another, some more severe than others?  What life is it that if you do even the smallest thing outside of your bed, you will repay in suffering every ounce of energy it allows you on a tolerably well day.

Eugene de Kock - Part Two

I know the reason why he has not contacted his friends.  I know the reason why he has not made an appearance to many of those he knows on our Free Eugene de Kock page.  And I am going to tell you everything I know over the next couple of posts about what went down before his actual release.  Some of the things I am going to tell you may just land me in hot water, but then again, I seem to continuously be in shit street.
During the time when we were still trying to get Eugene out, we had given some of the main players nicknames that only a few of us know about.  One of the main players, as you all know, was Kopdoek.  Everyone knew him by that name, but I gave him another name which was TM.  TM stood for Table Mountain because his ego was that big.  This is how we communicated – via inbox and by using nicknames.  Inbox was also the safest way to communicate that the authorities would not know what we were up to.  But even then, to make sure that the intelligence fellows were not getting our info, we wrote our inbox messages without punctuation – punctuation helps them to decode messages.    Then there was Julian Knight … more about him later.  And then there was the Jansen woman (who ultimately wrote a pathetic, in my view, book about Eugene).  She wanted me to organise a trip to visit him and when I refused, she found another way of getting to him.  Long before she did a thing, I knew what she was up to.  I called her PP for plastic p$%s.  And if you are honest and you have done the research, you will see just how pathetic that book of hers was – she gathered stuff from google, had a few picnics with him and hallelujah – an accomplished writer.  What kak!   She gave nothing  - she took from him.  And because of that, I have no time for her, as she has no time for me.  The feelings are mutual.

Ben Kruger had his spies, I had my spies and James Marx … I never trusted him so shared nothing with him.    It was always a good laugh when Ben and I shared something with one another – and then we would find that we both had the same information and then we could take it as being the truth.  If our information differed, the information was unreliable.

Eugene de Kock - Part One

I said that I would not write a thing about Eugene once he was out – I have changed my mind.  I am going to tell you what went down over the months before his release.

One of the first things I am going to tell you is why we changed the name of Eugene’s page so fast. In fact, James Marx was so de moer in with me for doing what I was told to do and I could not tell him why…he left the group and blocked me as a friend. Big deal ~ I did not cry over that one.  I have no time for adult cry-babies.   There were far more important things at stake than being concerned with someone’s ego.  And there have been very big egos in the story of Eugene de Kock.   There was a lot of information that we knew and a lot of things going down behind the scenes that we could not divulge to the public because we had spies and double-agents in the group.  Those we knew … we played into their hands, knowing what we were doing.  Oh!  The glory of the Art of War.  We kept our secrets, played our games and now they still think he may be the centre of a white revolution. Hence all the media regarding him being asked to speak at functions and being asked to leave before entering the door.  They are looking at the wrong person.  I am the dangerous one to watch.  I am the centre of the white revolution, the black revolution, the mixed race revolution and now also the rat revolution.    Over the next couple of posts, I am going to reveal to you what went down.  I hope you will stay with me for the ride.

Hey Mr Zuma ... I have a song for you ...

Fuck you!!
Hey Mr Zuma, I have a few ideas for you. 1. Every racist white must be handcuffed to a racist black for a period of three months and no leave to appeal. 2. Get rid of all your wives and keep just one. It will be cheaper and better for our economy. 3. Take the prisoners out and let them fix our roads. 4. Chase the Chinese back so that our own people can work 5. Get the Guptas out your arse. 6. Clean up your country as in clean the garbage, the dirt, the stench ... make the country clean and employ the unemployed to do just that. 7. Give a child care grant only to one child. All other children born receive nothing. 8. Force children to attend school until Matric, even if they have to sit there until they are 30. 8. Cut the salaries of all fat cats by one quarter and plough that money into the universities so that our students can learn. Stop hospitals from making nurses pay to get become sisters. Let them do it the old way - work and be paid while they learn. 9. Send every male between 18 and 21 for 2 full years to the army to teach them to be men. 10. Remove every single race based law in the country. 11. Stop hiding your communism under your ANC flag. Communism was about class struggle and nothing to do with colour of skin. Did they not teach you that?" 12. Send the people back to their home land and teach them how to grow food. There is honor in growing your own food. People used to be able to do this before we all got too clever and learned about KFC. 13. Teach every child to swim. 14. Put the male in prison for impregnating girls under the age of 18. 15. Put in some 'spies' into the police to flesh out the corruption. 16. Stop giving us the finger and take on the responsibility of running this country or take your retirement package. I am sure you have enough money now - how do you do it anyway - with viagra? Decide what you want ... do you want to be Westernized or do you want to be an African? We don't give a shit whether you white, black or pink ... we just don't want to be embarrassed by you. Mr President - a ship is only as good as it's Captain and our Captain has lost control of his ship.

Give us back our land - I am white!!!!

I am a shit stirrer of note - a brilliant activist always in the shit ... those not in the shit are just armchair warriors who could not or would not get their arses off the chair for anything or anyone. FFS ... met lots of them in my time in this virtual world. But it is not my fault that I am a shit stirring activist. It is the white man's fault - he took away my human rights when he made the land of my birth independent and made me a foreign national, needing a permit to reside in my birth place where my ancestors were born. No fuck this ... blame it on the whites who ran the country. Not the whites that suffered under their rule. Time to wake up and smell the roses. Not all whites were privileged. Some whites can also shout, "Give us back our land"... hey Julius ... come get a history lesson from me, you too clever fat cat. NOW ... ANC ... give us white people back our land ... It is time to tell our own truths in this racist, communist country. And I intend to tell mine. If you have a story and you can't write it and you also had your land removed or suffered particularly harse treatment after independence, tell me. I am going to tell a lot of these stories. I am going to become Julias's nightmare.

THE PROMISE - OPERATION MPUKU

Victim of the Bubonic Plague
I would like to thank the Mayor and his staff at the Metro for responding so quickly about the rat infestation.  I have no doubt that my inclusion of Media 24 also had an impact.    Yesterday, 7th September, 2016, Johan Bothma, the Acting Manager of Animal and Pest Control came to see me to discuss the rodent problem.  A little late for the meeting was Buyiswa Humani,
Area Inspector of Central.  I explained that the problem was not just that of Central, but of the Metro and in general, that of our entire country.  They were surprised by my knowledge of the rodent situation and after a fairly in-depth discussion; I was assured that their various departments would begin working immediately to control the rats, starting in Central. (Central will be the first targeted are…I suppose because I am the one who has made the most noise about it and I live in Central.  They would have taken my rat had I not had him killed as they do testing on live rats only in the Koega Municipality.   I also discussed the ridiculous decision to demarcate an area called Koega and one called the Metro when dealing with the testing of diseased rats.  Rats have not been taught to read yet and it is a simple walk across an invisible line for a disease carrying rat and his family to cross.  My dead rat is in a body bag and will be disposed of in the right manner (no funeral).   While they were surprised by my knowledge of the rodent situation, I was surprised by their lack of knowledge surrounding issues that have relevance for rat infestation.   Why had they not known what day Rubbish is collected in Central?   Another issue that I discussed was the abandoned and vandalised buildings, in particular, the old Sunnyside Hotel which is behind my home.  The old hotel offers free accommodation to various people such as pimps, prostitutes, and criminals; and is a store house for stolen goods.  There is a lot of noise coming from there at night and on many occasions I have called the police because it sounds like women and children being beaten.  The police say that they will not enter the building alone so that means the old hotel is a haven for criminals.  A concerted effort would have to be put in place by various departmental heads to sort out the Sunnyside Hotel; and all the authorities who were here yesterday have promised to do something about it.  At noon, Buyiswa Humani returned with Andile Tolom, Executive Director:  Public Health, and two other officials,  Nickie Oliphant and Gerard Foutie.   The rat infestation and the abandoned buildings were again discussed.
The first request for the metro to do something about this vandalised and disused building goes back 10 years.  The DA have been particularly useless in sorting out this problem.  The old Sunnyside Hotel was the original Standard Bank and the Heritage Foundation would like to see it restored to its former glory.   The owner of the Sunnyside has paid all his rates and taxes, but the metro can still give him a time limit in which to sort out the building after which they can do it themselves and the cost will then be for the account of the owner.
I reiterated that the rat problem was not a problem only in the area in which I live, but a problem of the entire Metro and the country at large.  In fact, rats are killing prisoners, babies and the infirm are being bitten everywhere in South Africa and rats have been found to be carrying the bubonic plague.
The Metro authorities do not have to worry about the information they have given me.  I know how to keep a secret – I have had years of practice; so I am unable to divulge exactly what plans are going to be initiated and what preliminary plans are already in operation.  However, if Mr Tolom and his minions are to be believed, the Metro will soon be the only Municipality without a rat problem.
All the officials who came to see me yesterday had one question they asked.  “Why?”  “Why was I so interested in the rat infestation and why was I interested in the abandoned buildings?  Who was I reporting to?”
“I know you are reporting to Mayor Trollip”, I said.  “And Mayor Trollip and all of you are reporting to me.  You are paid civil servants. And furthermore, I am a concerned South African citizen.  I report to no one”.

They left on a happy, but rather a perplexed note.   Given that an outbreak of the bubonic plague is not impossible and considering the state of our Health Department, we have a huge problem looming if we don’t all take a stand against the rats.  I've been thinking - I don't even know why I do what I do other than knowing that if I see a problem and I don't do something towards it's solution, then I am turning my back on myself.
